US-China Environmental Cooperation To Highlight Sister City Event

 Long Beach, CA—One of the “hottest” global topics, climate change, will be the focus of discussion by experts at Friday’s Annual Business Luncheon sponsored by the Long Beach-Qingdao Association.  Experts will also share details of US-China partnerships in that effort.  The event will be online, and attendance via Zoom is free, 11:45 am – 1:30 pm.

Speakers will include:

Amb. Zhang Ping, Consul General for the People’s Republic of China at Los Angeles;

Zhang Baohua, Deputy General Manager of the Port of Qingdao;

Xu Qingguo, Vice-Mayor, City of Qingdao;

Rex Richardson, Vice-Mayor, City of Long Beach;

Anoosheh Oskouian, President of Ship & Shore Environmental;

Kenneth McDonald, CEO of Long Beach Transit;

Wade Martin, Director, Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at CSULB.

Clayton Dube, Executive Director of USC’s US-China Institute, will lead a panel discussion.
